Out of the office, Alyce is Co-chair of the Mayport Waterfront Partnership, a member of the Mayport Working Waterfront LLC, a director of the American Planning Association-First Coast Section and a soprano with the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus. As a certified urban Planner, she worked on the project that became Sunshine Park in Jacksonville Beach and was part of the citizen initiative that developed Bird Island Park in Ponte Vedra. She understands the joys and challenges of re-location as the oldest of 7 siblings, born on five different USN Naval stations and has experience always being the “new girl in school”!
